News about captive orcas

Here are my news about captive orcas worldwide.
You will find only facts in this blog entry, no emotional outcries, like it goes on for deaf Morgan at the moment. And I refuse to post any lies or assumings.

August:
It was probably in August, that Russia captured some orcas.
Reportedly one orca drowned in the net, another one either escaped or was killed because it became a danger to the captors and the third one, a young female named Narnia, was finally taken into captivity. Her sad fate awaits her alone in a russian dolphinarium, maybe even a travelling one.

On 3rd August, Kohana gave birth to a female calf at Loro Parque, Tenerife.
The calf was named Victoria, or short Vicky. Like with Adan, Kohana rejected her and she is handraised. The father is assumed to be Keto.

July:
Birth at Kamogawa Seaworld Japan
Lovey gave birth to a female calf on 19th july. Sire is Oscar.
They live together with Loveys sister Lara and Loveys older son Earth (Asu).
The calf was named Luna.

2011
Birth at Marineland Antibes, France.
Wikie gave birth to a little male, later called Moana, on 16th March. Sire is probably Ulises from SeaWorld San Diego via A.I. Moana was first thought to be a female.

On 14th January, Nami a female orca died at Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium, Japan.
It is later revealed that she swallowed almost 500 stones during her time in Taiji Whale Museum. Those stones could have been the reason for her early death.
Nami had pneumonia, inflammated intestines and stomach ulcers when she died and was thought to be around 25 years old. She had been caught in Taiji back in 1985.
